ICONBRAND

Univisual defined a new type of logo, able to convey a shareable feeling through a particular, original subject characterized by a complex configuration, but easy to read.



The icon of a brand acts in the human mind: the stored datum, often remembered at unconscious level, lays the basis to be re-used when operating a choice concerning a product or service.


The natural inclination of the brain to break-down complex figures in different simple figures is the basis according to which Univisual operates to build what it called “Iconbrand”: the fewer the mind’s steps required to link its composition to known shapes, the greater will be the possibility to remain impressed in the recipient’s mind, indelibly.

This scheme refers exclusively to the “graphic symbol of the brand” and defines the nature of a symbol according to its level of originality (absolute distinction and differentiation) and ability to evoke meaning, detached from the subject to which the symbol is associated (perception of values conveyed by the symbol).
