Charity Foundation AFI – Arts for India – launches “Indixia” in New York, an event aimed at raising funds to allow students with less resources to build a future.
Arts for India (AFI) is a charity foundation born in 2010 in Kensington Palace, United Kingdom, with the aim to help less privileged young boys and girls from India, allowing them to find a way to overcome poverty through an artistic and design education that meets international standards.
Every year, thanks to AFI, 100 less privileged students benefit of a 4-year scholarship thanks to which they can attend the International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA).
This program is extremely important to provide access to education to students that cannot afford it, and the possibility to break the cycle of poverty, while it offers a way-out to women who are treated unfairingly due to the gender and are forced to arranged marriages.
After the success of London, this year at its second edition, the charity event lands in New York to promote AFI through international collaborations. For this purpose, the identity had to be reviewed to be able to engage the public, addressing it towards a clear and emotional “charity brand”.
Thanks to Univisual INDIXIA was born, a unique alliance promoted by AFI among international supporters coming from the sectors of Fine Arts, Design, Fashion, Cinema and philanthropy.
To launch Indixia, two events are foreseen in New York: the first dedicated to the art of Cinema – Monday September 21st at the Core Club – and the second concerning Art and Fashion on Wednesday September 23rd at Auction House Bonhams.
Admission strictly upon invitation.
Univisual dealt with the corporate branding of Indixia, developing naming and logo.
